Many AJ1s feature the Wings logo on the collar. But not this model. This is a one-of-a-kind shoe, it's the prototype of an icon. Let's go back to MJ's first photo shoot: the playing field, the shoes dangling from his shoulders... Do you notice anything different? Yes, the collar features "Air Jordan" instead of the Wings logo. Think about when MJ used to sign all those autographs to his little fans, adding "My very best" to his signature. The same message, in MJ's handwriting, stands out on the collar of his left shoe. We also thought a lot about how to make the box of this model. On the tissue paper are printed some unfinished sketches of Peter Moore, THAT Peter Moore, the very designer who created this shoe. Now you can discover the initial drafts of a logo destined to change the world of basketball.
