Origins: The First Builders is a strategy board game in which you expand your cities using the knowledge of benefactors from outer space. Through efficient workforce management, you will climb the steps of dazzling temples erected in honor of the zodiac signs. Thanks to random sets of actions and bonuses, each game will be completely different, and you will have the opportunity to use a variety of strategies and search for new combinations.
What does it involve?
During the game, we play as powerful archons, at the head of the growing city-states. Our goal is to manage the population in such a way as to expand influence, expand more districts and defeat others in the arms race. In a word: making sure that our civilization leaves the clearest trace on the pages of history.
Origins games are based on assigning workers. They allow us to visit meeting places (bringing resources, additional dice and promotion on temple and military tracks) or close the districts of our city. Each player starts with a city consisting of 2 tiles: the agora and the palace. Over the course of the game, he will add new buildings with special abilities to them, thanks to which the terrain will grow and grow stronger.
