AdBlue 5l + funnel TITANIUM 32.5% urea solution NOx reducing agent - description
AdBlue® is a synthetically produced 32.5% urea solution. The product is transparent, non-toxic, environmentally friendly and easy to operate. AdBlue® in accordance with ISO 22241 is a high-purity NOx reducing agent for diesel engines with SCR catalysts, which is to meet the EURO 4, 5 and 6 emission standards in accordance with AUS 32 (CEFIC) and ISO 22241.
AdBlue is a special fluid that is used in diesel-powered cars. More precisely, it is a solution of urea and demineralized water, composed of 32.5% of the former substance and 67.5% of water. Its task is to neutralize pollutants emitted by vehicles with diesel engines. How does such a liquid work in practice?
AdBlue fluid in a separate tank, however, does not mix with the fuel refueled at the station, but goes under pressure to the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalyst, which is located in the path of the exhaust system. It is there, under the influence of high temperature, ammonia is released from the urea contained in the solution, which, reacting with nitric oxide, instead of exhaust gases releases water vapor and harmless volatile nitrogen. The liquid itself is also not harmful to humans or the environment.
