Pattex FIX Wood
is a professional, one-component dispersion adhesive for interiors. It permanently glues a wide range of materials, replacing screws, nails, dowels or other adhesives when installing wall and plinth mouldings, panels, cornices, decorative boards, decorative profiles, wooden mouldings, door signs, etc.

GLUING METHOD:
1. Thoroughly clean the bonded surfaces from dust, rust, oil and substances that reduce the adhesion of the adhesive. If the ground has unevenness, it should be leveled. The condition for adhesive bonding is the absorbency of one of the glued surfaces. The substrate must be stable. If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with paper tape before application.
2. Cut off the end of the cartridge just above the thread. The dispensing tip should be cut at an angle. Place the cartridge in a special gun.
3. Apply the adhesive with lines or spots on the substrate or the material to be glued. Do not apply the adhesive directly to the edges.
4. Glue as long as the adhesive is moist (approx. 15 minutes, depending on the absorbency of the substrate). After the object is properly positioned, it should be pressed firmly to obtain a proper binding.
If you are gluing tense or heavy materials, they should be supported or immobilized for about 8-24 hours.
5. Clean fresh dirt immediately after application with a dry cloth and then with acetone or white spirit. The hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
6. Depending on the surfaces on which the elements are glued, it may be necessary to support heavy objects for min. 24 hours.
