Waze and Here Maps
With PNI S506 you can enjoy all the advantages of an Android tablet. You can install applications from Google Play, you can play games or see your favorite videos. In addition, the S506 comes with two pre-installed navigation and traffic applications: Waze and HERE Maps. Waze helps you find the best route to work and back, but also to find out what are the situations that could delay you: accidents, traffic jams, traffic diversions, all shared by other drivers in real time.
Notes:
To set the navigation path, long press on the screen on "GPS Navigation". From the interface that appears, select HERE Maps or Waze as predefined navigation software. Returning to the main interface, click once on "GPS Navigation" to launch the previously selected application.
If you want to use the HERE Maps offline application, you must download the desired map.
To use the Waze application, you must make hotspot of your mobile phone.

FM Transmitter
The PNI S506 portable navigation system is equipped with FM transmitter. It allows the transmission of songs stored in the internal / external memory of navigation, on the FM radio in the car.

Connectors
The PNI S506 navigation connector consists of a miniUSB port, a microSD slot for additional maps or multimedia files and a headphone jack.
Multimedia Player
The GPS unit has three important functions: video player, audio player and photo player. Supports video files such as: AVI, WMV, MP4 and audio files: MP3 and WAV. It also supports JPG, BMP and PNG formats.
