Intelligent operating modes are one of the key advantages of the microprocessor control of our charger. Include:
Constant Voltage: This feature allows you to use a constant voltage to charge the battery, while controlling the charging current to prevent the battery from overheating.
Constant Current: This means that the charger maintains a constant charging current even if the battery voltage is lower than the voltage set on the charger, ensuring effective charging.
Trickle Charge Modulation: When the battery is almost charged, this mode automatically switches to floating charge modulation, providing the minimum current needed to maintain a full charge.
Floating Charge Modulation: This mode keeps the battery fully charged by continuously monitoring the state of charge and adjusting the charge current as needed.
Our charger offers an advanced charging process divided into 8 stages, ensuring optimal conditions for the battery:
DIAGNOSTICS: The first step is to analyze the condition of the battery and its connections to ensure the correct charging process.
DESULPHURISATION: If the battery sulphates, a special pulsed charge mode is used to help remove sulphate deposits.
ANALYSIS: The next step checks that the battery is in good condition and can accept a charging current, eliminating the risk of charging a damaged battery.
SOFT START: Charging with low current then begins, gradually increasing the charging value, which ensures a gentle start to the charging process.
MAIN CHARGE: In this step, the battery is charged at maximum current and the charge rate is automatically adjusted according to the state of charge, reaching 80% of the battery's capacity.
FINAL CHARGE: When 80% capacity is reached, charging enters final charge mode, gradually reducing the amperage to achieve full battery charge.
ANALYSIS: After the charging process is complete, the battery is tested, and if its charge level remains stable, the charging process is terminated.
PULSING: The final stage is to monitor the battery voltage and keep it optimally charged through pulses of charge current, ensuring long-lasting battery performance.
