ALL METAL - is the standby mode. In this mode, metal is detected by the stationary coil and the detector emits a constant signal. There is no need to move the detector side to side. In ALL METAL mode, adjust GND BAL (ground balance), then press GND TRAC several times to eliminate common minerals and ores. The detector informs with a mid-tone sound about all detected objects in ALL-METALDISC, NOTCH and AUTO-NOTCH modes - these are operating modes in motion: In these modes, the detector informs about found items with sounds of 3 different pitches. The detector operates in automatic ground balancing mode. Sensitivity can be adjusted to your needs, while manual ground balance setting is not available. To reject worthless metal objects you should use the DISC and NOTCH settings. In motion mode, the coil must be kept constantly moving to detect objects.
