U-Boat XXVII Seehund
COBI together with the Deutsches Marinemuseum has prepared a unique commemorative set referring to the museum exhibit! Seehund (Type XXVII B) is a miniature submarine produced in Germany at the end of World War II. Designed in 1944 and operated by a two-man crew, it was used by the German Navy in the final months of the war. One of the few surviving ships is exhibited in the foyer of the Deutsches Marinemuseum.
The brick U-boat TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" was developed in 1:72 scale. The scale of 1:144 used so far for submarines turned out to be too small for such a miniature submarine. The use of a scale of 1:72 made it possible to reproduce the characteristic shapes of a real ship. All graphic elements are high-quality, durable prints. The set includes a brick display stand and a plate with the name of the set printed on it. Our History Collection can't do without this set! Build a story, block by brick!
