Dixit 7 features 84 new, well-drawn cards, maintained in the atmosphere of multicultural visions. These cards can be combined with all editions and add-ons of the Dixit game.
Dixit is a game of associations, whose unusual graphics, simple rules and unlimited imagination create a new dimension of entertainment.
What does it involve?
Each player becomes a storyteller on his turn. He chooses one of his 6 pictures and comes up with an association for it. A sentence can be a single word, a sound, a quote - there are no limits here, you can even sing something! Then the other players choose from their cards the one that they think best fits the storyteller's password and place it face down on the table. The storyteller shuffles all these cards, including his own, and places them on the table, revealing them. Players (except for the storyteller) secretly vote which card is the card to which the storyteller came up with an association. Once everyone has made their choice, the points start to be awarded.
If no one guesses which card belonged to the storyteller, because his association was too abstract, he does not receive any points, and the other players are rewarded. Similarly, if all the votes point to the storyteller's card, it means that the association was too simple or too literal. In other combinations, points are awarded and attention, if any player votes for the card you played, because you played something that he thinks fits the association better, you get bonus points!
So it's a good idea to play your cards cleverly, trying to confuse other players, while keeping the ones you have an interesting association with and waiting to play them until it's your turn.

The game was developed by Jean Louis Roubira, a doctor who works at a hospital in Poitiers with young patients experiencing difficulties in and out of school. After a few games of Dixit, they saw a significant improvement in their statements and relationships with other people. The game can also be used as a pedagogical and therapeutic tool.
