Historical Collection Battleship Missouri (BB-63)
USS Missouri (BB-63) is an Iowa-class battleship of the United States, also known as "Mighty Mo" or "Big Mo". She is the last battleship in history built by the United States. On board on September 2, 1945, the act of surrender of the Empire of Japan was signed, thus officially ending World War II. The ship took part, among others, in the Battle of Iwo Jima and Okinawa and in the Korean War. The USS Missouri was decommissioned only in 1992 and has been open to the public as a museum ship ever since.
A model made of COBI building blocks in 1:300 scale is a real challenge for all builders. It consists of 2655 elements and requires several hours of intensive and exciting assembly.
