Heat the glue. Prepare the surface to which you will stick the adapter by degreasing and wiping it dry. Apply glue to the adapter. Stick the adapter in the desired location on the car body (or other sheet metal surface). Hook the hammer onto the glued adapter, grasp the hammer with one hand by the transverse tip, the other by the movable part on the hammer handle. Move the moving element vigorously towards you, tapping it against the lock at the top of the handle. This will lead to the dent being knocked out. Gently remove the adapter and any adhesive residue from the car body with a surface cleaner.
