It is used for securing flexible rubber, PVC and other round-shaped hoses on input fittings, terminations, etc. The tape has rounded edges that protect the hose from damage. The clamp screw has a hexagonal head with a slot for a flat or cross screwdriver. The asymmetrical embossed tooth on the tape, in combination with the screw, ensures that the clamp twists in the direction of the applied torque.
