The parking sensor is a modern ultrasonic system for motor vehicles. It checks the space behind the vehicle during the reversing procedure and gives acoustic warnings of obstacles that are detected by this device. The device assists when reversing, but does not relieve the driver of the special attention required when reversing. The set consists of:
- four ultrasonic sensors
-control unit
- display with built-in buzzer
- wiring and mounting accessories (drill)

The display determines the exact position of the obstacle (distance, position). Information about the distance from the obstacle is presented on the LED display numerically, where the measurement field is from 0.0m to 2.5m. When approaching an obstacle when the sensor is activated, the driver is immediately informed about the position of an obstacle on the right or left side of the vehicle by coloured indicators on the display. In addition, the driver is informed about the distance from the obstacle by an audible signal. The sound signal is emitted from a piezoelectric transducer with four frequencies depending on the distance. The system is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged together with the reversing lights.
