The filter is designed to eliminate interference generated by the ignition system, alternator, windshield wiper motor, blower motor, fuel pump, etc. that gets through the power lines to the radio receiver or CB radio. The filter is a device intended for continuous operation. Depending on the load the filtering properties change:
- For I range from 0A to 7A inductance: max 2.5mH
- For 7A inductance: 1.5mH
- From 7A to 10A inductance: 1.2mH
