The presence of LTE transmission at a frequency of 800 MHz may adversely affect the quality of the DVB-T signal due to an excessively strong signal, causing interference and disrupting the correct reception of terrestrial digital television. Under such conditions, individual incorrect pixels or distortions of a significant part of the image and sound will appear on the TV screen. The stronger the interference, the more often the image will become "frozen", or even completely disappear from the receiver's screen. Such problems will occur suddenly, even with a slight deterioration in the reception conditions of the DVB-T signal. We can fight effectively against interference from the LTE 800 MHZ network using so-called LTE filters. Such a filter effectively suppresses signals at frequencies from 790 MHZ to 862 MHZ, which is the entire range where LTE 800 MHZ falls. A better solution is to use external directional antennas with a built-in LTE filter. The new series of BLOW antennas has been equipped with an LTE filter that allows the elimination of interference to the terrestrial digital television signal from transmitters or devices using LTE technology.
