The strength properties of the socket exceed the requirements of the DIN 3124 and PN-ISO 1711 standards.
Proline-Tools hex sockets are offered in a very wide assortment that work perfectly with Proline ratchets and screwdrivers (as well as those of other manufacturers). They are made of durable tool steel. The sockets are made using the die forging method and subjected to special thermal and chemical treatment processes, such as chroming - to protect against corrosion. Before undergoing hardening and degreasing processes, the sockets are calibrated using precise measuring gauges and control devices. In addition, Proline sockets are equipped with special openings that work with locking mechanisms found in Proline ratchets and screwdrivers.
The PROLINE socket has specially profiled edges between working surfaces, the so-called PRO DRIVE system, which is used to reduce excessive point loads and protect against excessive "wear" of the edges of the screw head and working surfaces of the socket.
