BEN, SHA, OUR are payment instructions in international bank wire transfers

Everyone who has made an international wire transfer must have met with the payment instructions.  

What are they, and what consequences do they bring? 

BEN - when you make a wire transfer, you can choose this option to make the receiver pay all the transfer charges.

SHA - in this case, you pay the transfer charges of your bank only, while the receiver pays for all the intermediary transfer charges. 

OUR - you pay all the transfer charges.

It is very important to consult with the trade partner in regards to the choice of the payment instruction before realizing the wire transfer. It will help you to avoid misunderstandings after remitting / receiving the payment, and possible additional costs in the case of the necessity of additional payment.
