The organic wild cherry compote is an interesting variation of the classic cherry jam. This particular compote of organic wild cherries is a preserve created with love by the Orto del Pian Bosco, a family-run organic farm. The organic wild cherry compote is a genuine and tasty product, which is prepared with care and attention in the laboratories of the farm.
After a harvest done exclusively by hand, to choose only perfectly ripe fruits with the right sugar content, the wild cherries, also known as sour cherries, are cooked with the addition of very little cane sugar. The result is a ruby-colored compote, enveloping and velvety, which upon tasting it enchants the palate.
Perfect for tasty pies and biscuits, this organic compote of wild cherries is particularly delicious also in savory combinations with soft cheeses and aged pecorino.
